I have had this beauty of a gemstone in my collection for a very long time. I finally decided to set it into a sterling silver basket pendant setting. The gemstone itself was sold to me as Madeira Citrine. However, I do not technically think it is, and if it is Madeira it is barely. Why does that matter? Madeira Citrine is a rare kind of Citrine that is more of a wine color to it. This is a beautiful huge, large and in charge, Golden Citrine in a teardrop or pear shape. It comes with a sterling silver necklace, that you can definitely remove and put it on another chain, or chord. Citrine is a member of the Quartz family of gemstones. It is usually heat treated to achieve the golden yellow color. Natural Citrine is possible in nature, but it is a very pale yellow in color. I offer combined shipping. Please ask all questions before you buy.
